PA colleges?

The spread, as with anywhere in the US, seems to be primarily through young people and asymptomatic young people. Both cities have high concentrations of young people. So your young urban progressive dweller likely has a greater role in the spread of covid than rural or small town residents. Trying to shift the blame on "red" counties is pretty ignorant and short sighted.

Not true. In the last month or so, both centre and Huntingdon counties had the highest rates. Your biases are showing.

These are also areas without good healthcare infrastructure.

And for PP, I’m not sure if PA’s death rate is higher than Florida’s or not, but as James Carville once said, in PA, you’ve Philadelphia on one side, Pittsburg on the other, and Alabama in between. So I don’t doubt the middle of the state is going maskless and generally not caring about catching or spreading the virus.

PA is higher than Florida.

I know central PA well enough. And you and James Carville are a@@holes. As is the governor.

lol I’m an asshole for pointing out that central PA is more rural and conservative than the other sides of the state? A fact that even the residents of the area would agree is true? Ok I have more breaking news for you: water is wet, 2+2=4. These are unbiased facts, buddy.

Centre and Huntington are where State College is. If you know Pennsylvania, you'd know that's where PSU is. I suspect that has something to do with cases.... large student population.

The clear majority of cases are in the big urban areas, or in these two cases, with very large student populations. Makes you wonder

You're right that 2+2=4. In this case large populations = large number of cases. Student population = higher than average cases.

And Biden won Centre County, FYI. Score one for the blues!

The point is, they are urban, not rural. So your post was wrong.

There is nothing urban about Huntingdon County, PA.

Correct, and the earlier poster said PA’s numbers were being driven by Pittsburgh and Philly, which are urban.

Maybe if you read more slowly, you could keep up??
