If school is F2F and it’s Covid, the health dept will notify the teacher (exposed). But y’all can’t claim kids get seriously ill with Covid AND that schools should be face to face. Truth be told that if the teacher inquired “Is it Covid?” You’d say she was prying (and if F2F, only self-interested). |

The teacher likely saw your emails during the day, in between teaching tasks. They did not necessitate a reply. She probably had to forward it to her attendance secretary to be sure it was noted.
Next time add a “please let me know you go this” if it is very important to you to hear back. |
You seem needy. Lots of reasons kids have MD appts except COVID. |

Soooo many more things to be annoyed about.
Sure, it's great if the teachers writes back "Hope Larlo feels better soon" but maybe she read it when she didn't have time/ease of response, and just never got back to it. Really not a big deal. |

No not really. It doesn’t really require a response and teachers are busy!
My kids’ teachers would generally reply “thanks for letting me know- feel better soon!” Or similar. Nice but not necessary, and the teacher probably just forgot. No biggie. |

Why did you expect a response? It was an unnecessary email to start with.
I suppose she could have said "please inform the office." |
