Expectant and Postpartum Moms
| we have been going back and forth about this, because my LMP date and my ultrasound date are 10 days different. my due date has also changed (on my chart) about 3x based on sonogram measurements at 12 and 20 weeks. the midwife i switched to at 24 weeks was extremely confused by the various due dates in my chart. she straight up said "i have no idea how they calculated this at all." |

I ovulated late as well when pregnant with DC#2. I can't tell you how many times I corrected my drs / nurse through out my pregnancy regarding how many weeks I was, EDD etc.
I go to GT OB GYN practice and was there b/c of ease as opposed to love of any of the drs currently there (had previous drs who I loved who have since left the practice). Anyway, I would lie about your LMP if you know when you ovulated. It will just make things easier. |
| I'd lie, too, though I agree with a PP that said find a practitioner who will believe you. My problem is my LMP went into the chart, I told them my cycle is long and I ovulate late, they said, Okay, then let's do a dating sono, dating sono matched up with approximately whne I thought I ovulated (11 days later than according to LMP) and they changed my due date. Anyway, that LMP date still lingers in there and occasionally pops up (always staff error, not doctor error) and I wish it were not even there at all. Had I lied it would have been one day off from my current date instead of 11!! |

OP here: Thanks for all the advice. I backed out 14 days from my ovulation date.
