Considering they cost twice as much, they'd better last longer!


DP: My 2010 MacBook Pro is still doing everything that I need it to do. The price per year /price per use easily makes it a bargain—if you can deal with the initial cost.

Not all Chromebooks are cheap. Get one with 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor and it will last you years like new. I recommend educational/military drop grade models that can take a beating. NO maintenance needed on them.
