Definitely Ranger Rick if she’s at all into wildlife.
Girls World
New Moon Girls. My 11 yo loves it. IMO 10 yo is the right age to start it as it includes some older material such as politics and puberty, although there are write ins to the magazine by girls as young as 8. It’s ad free which is nice and has a nice mix of articles, quizzes, etc.
I would also highly recommend Stone Soup. This is a literary magazine written by and for readers in the 10-14 year old (?) range. My kids are a tad bit older, so I am not certain of the recommended age range, but my kids definitely read the magazine in the 10-14 year old range. Any child is free to submit literary pieces and artwork, too! My child was published twice.
People, Birds and Blooms, National Geographic Kids, HGTV
Mine likes regular Nat Geo over kids version (definitely doesn't read it cover to cover, but browses and enjoys it, figure will grow into it enventually). Also loves the food Network magazine
I would highly recommend "Discover for Kids" https://kidsdiscover.com/ And magazines by age and interest by browsing - https://shop.cricketmedia.com/ |
If she likes dogs, Animal Tales.
