Cleaning, cooking, going up and down the stairs, and generally being active in your home should get you pretty close. I sometimes make multiple trips bringing items up and down the stairs just to get some activity on days that I don't exercise.
Is there some reason you can't walk outside, even in winter? If it's a mild day and the ground is clear of ice and snow, you can still get outside for some exercise. |
This. Bundle kids up in the stroller and go out. |

It's possible.
In fact, it's possible to run 100 miles inside a 960 square foot apartment, though I'm not planning to do it: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/04/sports/ultramarathon-brooklyn-100-miles.html "The first time Michael Ortiz ran 100 miles inside his 960-square-foot Brooklyn apartment was the hardest. He laid out a roughly rectangular 40-foot cardboard track around the rugs on his living room floor and ran 13,200 laps on it. To save his knees from so many turns, Ortiz stopped every mile and reversed direction." |
We do 10000 in a 900 sq foot apt. |
| Trampoline. Can get a small one on amazon for $100 |
I do this too. I do it in a space about 6 ft by 2ft. Yes, it's boring but if gets the job done! I also use so walking video workouts |
| I was just going to recommend Leslie Samson’s walking videos! Also the step was a great idea |
| Get a jogging stroller take your toddler for a run/walk. Less expensive and takes up less space than a treadmill. If you are just walking a regular stroller would be fine too. |
