USA Swimming - time standards question

There are not SCM times. There are short course yards and long course meters. Only summer league swims short course meters and there are not USA motivational times for that.


There are SCM motivational times, but at least in our area, they would only be useful for personal use and summer league times.

Oh, and I'll add, something that may be fun/interesting for you to look at is time conversion. You can enter a time in SCM and see what the equivalent is in SCY (and vice versa).

As someone who swam division 1 in college, I can pretty much guarantee that if you keep up your attitude your kid will burn out and quit. Let him have fun. He is 8.

I agree with PP- the 10 and under JO times for PVS are in the BB range for short course yards. They are almost A times but still BB.
