Because we’ve been trapped in our homes for 10 months, our kids can’t go to school, we’re being told not to travel out of state unless it’s absolutely necessary and quarantine when we get back, and she’s going to a non-essential mass gathering out of state and is unlikely to be quarantining when she gets back?

This pissed me off. There are Biden staffers who actually worked on the campaign who couldn't go, but she deemed it essential business for herself.

I hope she gets voted out and this is her last job in politics. Not impressed.

Essential is partaking in whatever inaugural plans there may be not traveling to a state you banned the residents you represent from visiting.

This is why DC doesn’t need statehood. It’s elected officials are incompetent.
