Research Costco diamonds before buying there. It was a much better place to buy a ring 10 years ago than it is now.

Another vote for Dominon Jewelers. We have family working in NY's diamond district, and they recommended Dominion Jewelers for a local jeweler. They have in house craftsman so can make just about anything.
