This was great - I ordered a couple items from this list.

What kind? In ear or over ear? Is it the quality or the brand name the kids like?

My 10yo wants "cool" hoodies but I don't know what's "cool". Where to shop for a 10yo? He has Nike, Under Armour, etc but he wants something with graphics I think.

For boys, Adidas, Under Armor, and Nike. And, a few other brands but those are the basic uniform. Or, what ever he's interested in in a teeshirt or sweatshirt.

Over the ear and he likes that when the charge runs out they can be corded (so he's not stuck with dead headphones). I have Beats, too (use them for flights) and the sound is great. He probably likes them because of the name sure but they're good quality headphones. Amazon has been throwing them up and down on the Lightening Deals.

If it were my almost 13 DS then cool would be Supreme, ALife, Palace etc. but 10 that may not be the case. May be more Nike etc. still. Do they like TV shows/anime? Maybe a tee or hoodie with his favorite show on it? Does he have a favorite band?

If you buy clothes, keep in mind a lot of teen boys are in mens sizes if tall. Make sure to include gift receipt or buy on the big side with room to grow.

This. Also a gift card to a sports clothing store means he could order cool sneakers.

We’re going to get the pop a shot for our 17 and 13 yo boys. They both have late fall birthdays and xmas gifts get harder to think of each year.

I just can't imagine a 17 year old playing that very often. Sure it's cool for the first 3-4 times but then what? He has better things to do I'm sure. No?

He has a ton else to do: work, school, sports, but yes he and his 13 yo will use it and we have the room for it.

Since MS the kids don't get/ want toys so instead we get a family gift and then some cloths and a few small inexpensive gifts (books, chargers, earrings). Recently, as we hit HS we started adding fitness equipment.
In the past 4 years we have gotten:
Ping Pong table
Futsal table
Pop-a-shot
Stationary bike
Also weights, yoga mats, balls

We have been running downstairs Olympics since March......

PP, do you actually buy your 13 year old $150-$200 sweatshirts? 🙄

OP Here - he is getting a new graphics card for his gaming PC (which he has asked for and will specify in great detail) and new noise cancelling bluetooth headphones (which is kind of for school). May also get a new video game or two if I can figure out one to get, but he doesn't seem all that interested in exploring new games with his crew.

To all - we got him and his brother a pop-a-shot 2 years ago and it did get tons of use that winter. Interest has mostly dried up, but if you have space for it I recommend! It does take a ton of room.
