Yes and City Council, police department and fire department

And why does it need all of those things? Seems pretty pricey. Doesn’t MoCo government already have its own pretty healthy bureaucracy without layering on more at the local level?
There are 20 or so incorporated towns/cities in MoCo, only two are larger than TP in population (Rockville/Gaithersburg). Why wouldn't TP want to be incorporated?

I’m sticking with Kate.

Roger is one of the pro-parking lot crowd. I think his group wants to create more vacant lots as a way to foster growth.

More local control.

I love the TP city services. I also love that it feels like its own small town.

I just don't like having to pay for police and fire for the county get and the city. Seriously, do we really need to pay extra for city police and fire when we already pay for county police and fire? Sure, the county is supposed to reimburse but they don't.

Who should I vote for?

Also, what party do each of these candidates belong to?

It’s a nonpartisan election, but both are liberal Democrats

Wait... How did two Democrats end up facing off against each other? We do not have a jungle primary system in Maryland, why isn't it a Democrat versus a Republican? This sounds very sketchy.

It’s nonpartisan. There are no party affiliations on the ballot. In state and federal elections they vote Democratic. City elections don’t have partisan affiliation.

Then you shouldn't live in an incorporated municipality.
