Recommend your kid’s bed — for a 4 year old, but would like it to last

Anonymous
At 4, my boys had a junior loft bed. It made through 2 kids. Neither one fell out. We would have kept it longer if the second one hadn't done so much damage too it by the time he was 7. I switched them to full size beds. One has a standard slat supported bed and headboard and the other has a metal spring base-type bed and wood headboard from his crib. The destructive kid rarely gets anything higher end or new. He also doesn't have a dresser or night stand, while the other kid does.
