Hybrid to maintain social distancing is stupid. The kids are wearing masks and will be sitting in a room all day with the other kids — why does it matter if they are 4 feet or 6 feet? Preschoolers are all over each other and the data shows those kids aren’t infecting each other or their teachers. Mask up and get back to school. Open the windows if there are some and/or turn on the overhead fans. Sure, throw some hand sanitizer stations in there.

I honestly think enough parents will want DL that you could classrooms down to 12-15 kids. At this point, daycares have been open for months without major issues and if parents are willing to send kids full time just let them. 4 feet, 6 feet the virus is not as contagious or dangerous as previously thought. And kids whose family members are high risk will keep doing DL. As can high risk teachers. I think hybrid is silly given what we now know.
