Big anniversary coming up... how to celebrate in these times?

We have anniversary coming up next month. I just ordered some new heels and lingerie, I know DS will get me some jewelry, new handbag or two and some clothes I have been eyeing. We will do a weekend away post COVID.

We have an anniversary coming up in a few weeks. We don’t usually exchange gifts, if we do get anything it’s usually something for the house. This year we bought a patio heater so we can spend more time outside.

Me in lingerie, it’s what he likes, what he asked for. He gets that frequently but it is still what he wants.

Since you mentioned that you never get pictures taken, how about a picnic with kids and get a photographer to get some pics, some of the family, and some of just the two of you?

Yeah I’m a little bummed because our 20th anniversary is this month and for years we had been planning on a trip to Spain. Dinner in and wine hardly seems different than a typical weekend night.

We were supposed to go to France for our anniversary in may. Took the trip money and bought a solar heater for our pool and enjoyed the pool for may, june, July, August and September. Worth it!

We got a babysitter to babysit outdoors for 2 hours for our kids and went to a nearby winery with everything outdoors. We had a good time.
