39 week cervix check

I love cervical checks because I tend to do preterm labor and it's very reassuring to know I'm not dilating despite my contractions

I just posted on another thread but I had a cervical check with my first at 35 weeks. Found out I was 3 cm and didn’t deliver her until 9 days later. With my 2nd I was really worried about childcare. My OB wouldn’t induce prior to 39 weeks. At my 39 week appointment I asked about induction. She checked me and said I was no where near ready and the experience would be miserable. I went into labor 48 hours later and was 4 cm when they checked me a few hours after I got there and it was a relatively easy delivery so in that time my body became ready.
