BPA-free bottles?

Playtex's disposable liners bottle system is also BPA free. We've used this and love it since it cuts down on washing and makes it easier when we're out and about for the day to have to take/clean less stuff.

I used Platex with both of my kids. I don't use drop-ins, but rather, the standard liners, which are much more economical. It's cleaner and easeir to keep clean. The bottle holders are durable, and very easy to pass on to the next kid, because they never really held any liquid milk.

I think that parents have been duped into thinking that only certain very expensive premium brands are BPA free, rather than realizing that many of the products that we have already been using are BPA free already.

Gerber Clearview - $3.99 for a 3 pack at Target. I pump directly into them.

Also Gerber GentleFlow, which are very similar to Avent. Nipples and collars are interchangeable. Got mine at Walgreens.com.

I had looked into using born free, but they were so expensive!!! we use the Gerber Clearview. as a PP mentioned, they're like $4 for three bottles. I thought the flow was way too fast with gerber nipples, so I use the dr. brown's nipples, and they work much better.

I had bought a TON of dr. brown's, and loved them, before really finding out able the BPA thing. I wish I had been more informed before spending all that dough. I would have gotten some glass dr. brown's, but DS's daycare doesn't allow them.
