Homeschooling advice?

I looked at Moving Beyond The Page which seems perfect....however she didn't seem interested. My other issue is that Moving Beyond the page only adds up to 3 hours.
I could also buy her some STEM related toys....but they all cost so much!
I work full time also.....

I need some advice on-
If I should do homeschooling
If I should try a homeschooling program (and if so which one)
Any STEM toys that would also teach her?

Join the northern virginia homeschool FB group. Thry are an incredible resource. I work FT and am homeschooling my 5th grader. It is working out very well. DH and I tag team and my son get active parental teaching for 4-5hrs a day. No stress, no tears, and we found his public school education has more holes than swiss cheese.

Lots of useless busy work on adaptive programs, little in the way of live instruction, a schedule of 30 minute blocks, way too much screen time and lots of assignments (2-3 plus the lessons on the computer programs Due every week). It’s ridiculous and given the amount of time we spend supervising and providing technical support for what the school claims a first grader should be doing independently I may as well homeschool. DS and I are both burnt out and frustrated at the end of each day. This is a lose lose for everyone except maybe the teachers who are not teaching.

This is exactly why I started homeschooling this year. DL last spring was horrid and I spent way too much time trying to help her learn the crap they were haphazardly teaching, I realized I could do much better by myself with a few BrainQuest workbooks. It was a headache just printing everything out, and she wouldn't understand the lessons anyway so I had to explain everything afterwards.

Not sure about your daughter, but as an introvert myself, I can always find things to occupy my time. Now and when I was a kid.
