I wear an 8 or M in most brands and the same for AT. I like that they have tall pants and everything is always on sale. Some tops I could wear a small but consistently get a M |
I don’t know if they changed their sizing. 2 years ago I bought a 6 regular high rise pants. To big. This year, learning from experience and went by their sizing chart got 6 petite. I’m 5’3 and 28 waist. Fit like a 4. I had to size up to 8 petite. I think loft and AT sizes run the same now. I went to Loft and tried on some petite pants just for size. The 6 too small had to size up to 8. Regular 6 fits perfect except 1’2” longer. Even the waist size are the same the petite rise is a good 1” or more shorter than the regular hence the tighter fit. So instead of fitting at above the belly button it’s lower and give you muffin top. I would like to shop more at AT bc quality is good but the closest store is 30 miles away and even then they don’t have a lot of items and some of their items are online only. I hope they keep their sizing consistent and the same at Loft or AT factory so at least you can go there to try on for size. |
I am tall and I am the same size at AT as other brands. M or 8 |
Vanity sizing for sure! At least a whole size off. Maybe 2 |
I think AT runs larger than Loft. I am pretty6 average sized (5'4, 115) and recently bought an AT work dress in a 2 that is too large. My sole pair of sz 0 pants is also from AT. Some of my stuff from Loft is a 4P although the 26 jeans fit me. |
Hi. I wear a 26 pants in loft. I wear a size 2 to 4 ann taylor. I wear a size 0 loft shorts and a size 2 ann Taylor shorts. I wear extra small loft tops and small ann Taylor tops.
Loft runs larger Ann Taylor is more true to my size though I would say jeans still run a bit large. I’m a big loft and ann Taylor fan so my closet is full of both. |
HUGE! |
Ann Taylor def runs big. I am a solid 4 in most places (Brooks Brothers, Banana, Ralph), but at Ann, I can fit 2s and a few 0s. |
At least one size up. |
