We are in the City of Alexandria. |
| I will never understand why people use this forum like it's google. |
I'm not using it like Google. I'm seeking information on what organizations people use. As I stated, I don't have any awareness of whether there is one organization, or if there's many. If you don't have anything useful to add, no one is forcing you to participate in this thread. |
that's dominated by ASA unless you really don't like their offerings, then Gunston is down by Mount Vernon and has a strong rec. program |
| This is a confirmed trolls page no way you have information about Alexandria soccer.ASA has flyers at every Elementary school in the city and even do free events my child will bring Alexandria flyers every quarter pre covid |
Thanks! |
No, it's not a troll. I've never seen a flyer at my child's school. |
Yes they do at EVERY Alexandria school! Doesnt matter you got what you wanted and its to have a reason to bring up Alexandria as a topic. Try facebook you might get a wider audience. |
Um ... the kids haven’t been in school for awhile. Not sure what good a flyer in the school is doing. |
Shame. You can't read it clearly says pre covid |
Huh? You sound really paranoid. I'm the OP and my kid goes to a small private school. I've never seen an ASA flyer there, and even if I had... that wouldn't have answered all the questions I have about the options available in Alexandria. |

let me help
Click on the link that was previously provided. Click on TOTS You will see the first two sentences say A FUN-FILLED ATMOSPHERE TO INTRODUCE YOUR CHILD TO THE BEAUTIFUL GAME! Tots Classes are designed for children ages two through four Sounds like that meets your need. Good luck |
Thanks. Both of my kids are now registered, I just went with ASA for both. |
| My kids has been with that club for about 5 years. We've been pleased with them. I think you will find the same. Good luck, Enjoy |
|
Okay. Back to square one for OP.
It’s okay to be clueless about soccer everywhere in the world BUT the DCUM soccer forum. This forum is for angry parents who just barely missed a shot at pro soccer in their youth. There is one club in the city of alexandria. You have found it. There are maybe 15 in Fairfax county who all have rec and travel programs and that’s where things get excessively complicated. Try ASA and see how you like it because that’s your easiest and closest option. For rec soccer you should never have to go further. They are a very well organized club, so if you have any questions, call their office staff and they will help you with anything you need. |
