Would you pay $35 for a used Hanna Andersson jacket?

If the fill content is important to you, then $35 is cheaper than any of the other brands mentioned here even 50% off. We're going to be outdoors a lot more this winter, so if there's a year to spring for actual down, this would be it. I think $35 including shipping is a fair price for a heavy weight down coat in excellent condition. I would not pay that much for an older one showing wear, even if the quality is better (sigh, old HA is much better quality).

I think the ones PPs are mentioning for cheaper are the thinner down coats, like this one: https://www.costco.com/eddie-bauer-youth-reversible-down-jacket%2C-blue-ombredark-blue.product.100539897.html

when you say " actual down" You mean " actual soft bird feathers that the birds were still using when they were cruelly plucked out"......I am fine with polyfill.

If that's your concern, I'd prefer a used coat to a new sweatshop produced Gap coat, down or polyfill. Or even worse, a new light weight down coat from Costco or Nordstrom Rack. But OP didn't ask about the ethical implications of her winter coat, she asked whether the price makes sense. The materials used in the coat is relevant to whether two brands are comparable.

Their retail price can be pretty high (upwards of $75)
I only buy from the outlet, where winter coats are usually on sale for $35- $50.
When I re-sell to friends, I usually price it at $15-$20, depending on condition and weight.

OP here. 80% down. Sounds like most ppl think it’s too costly to buy a used one for $35

Ask your kid which one they like and buy it-or if they are too young to decide buy the one you like best. I buy used MJ all the time at 1/2 the retail price which is still more than I'd pay at Target but I love them and they hold up and generally the used one are being in EUC.

Too expensive sinde you can get a new one for this price. I might have 3 in my closet for $35 and less.

Where can you get a new HA winter puffer for $35?!

Yes absolutely. Especially if you plan on passing it down to another child.

Nope. What people will pay for used HA is kind of wild.
