Love this. A good friend who is French goes by Caro. |
| No nickname. |
| I call my Caroline by her full name. Before she was born I was going to use Callie as an nickname, but we never have. |

Lena (derivative of the French and Spanish pronunciation), Liney (w/ long I), CeCe, Kiki, Carlie, Callie, or Calle.
That said, we have a Caroline and none of the nicknames felt natural to us. We most call her Caroline, and occasionally Care or Carrie, but only as family pet names. We also use "C" or all three initials in writing sometimes. But to everyone outside the family, she is just Caroline. |
| Callie or "Care" in our house. |
| Not all names need nicknames. My name is Caroline and I have always been called Caroline, nothing else. I mean, maybe my mom called me Sweet Pea, but that’s it... |
| Caddie is an old nickname for Caroline. |

Cate
Kiki Coco |
| Named my daughter Caroline this summer. I’m another for the full name. Biased but it’s a lovely one. |
| Arrow |
| We call my sister Caroline either Care of Caro. |

Why do you need a nickname?
Seems to be an American obsession. We are going to name our child X but call him XY. My full name has 5 letters, but people here have asked me what to call me "for short". How much shorter do you need it to be?!? |
| Caro |
+1! Love this, reminds me of Caddie Woodlawn. |
