How awful. With the frequency of hurricanes in that area, I would have thought that there would be some provision for mass evacuations (buses, trains?).

I hope there won't be too much loss of life, immediately or because of Covid in shelters.

There are busses, but they have been getting turned away because their destinations have reached capacity for evacuees.

In most states, you are on your own.

And now, with our federal government, you are on your own after the hurricane as well.

The storm won't be blamed on him, but the way he handles it will. Just like the Trumpvirus. He's tapped into FEMA funds, for instance.
