Chat is not an option this year. This was said multiple times.

Why can't they make it? Did they miss the bus

I assume it would be like missing a day of school- he/she would make up the work at a later time or just have to catch up the next day

Actually, the point was: what about children are often unable, or never able, to attend that class at that time?

You must have missed all of the posts last Spring of the kids making fun of each other, recording segments, posting them online and on social media outlets. It is the new form of bullying and it is permanent. And yes, it was happening even in ES.

I have zero interest in 9-3 screen time for my elementary school student.

Then homeschool

Nah, I pay thousands of dollars in taxes. All I want is free Zoom English tutoring. We got everything else.

They get free wifi and their own free chromebooks. There is no excuse except for sickness why a child can not make it to class.

Hit submit too soon ...

My impression from previous discussions is that attendance is required, just like live school.

Yes, I hear there will be a lot of internet glitches during first period for the high schoolers.

PP, use your imagination a little bit more, please. There are many reasons why a child would not be able to make it to a class.

They're taxes, not user fees. My neighbor who has no children pays thousands of dollars in taxes, too.

Exactly. There has to be attendance and yes you have to show. Just like in regular school. Otherwise it will be another year or self learning and slacker grades.

Not the PP, but please enlighten us? I just don't see how they can not.
