Phone calls

I just wouldn't naturally think to call to shoot the shit, but it is not difficult to figure out the rhythm of the relationship and do things to make the person I'm dating happy.

But it is beyond stupid to assume that if he's not calling it automatically means PP is on the backburner, especially if she hasn't communicated this to her dude.

So you'd consider a few texts every now and then sufficient?

So you generally don't call, you just text? How often do you text?

Every two days

I wouldn't consider him my boyfriend. Just a guy I'm dating. I'd say texting is more common than phone calls now, but amongst my friends all born between 1980 and 1985, phone calls happen at least early on if it's someone we're pretty serious about fairy regularly. Texts are daily.

I tend to banter back and forth by text throughout the day as time allows. Photos, jokes, serious talk, venting from both of us. The kind of thing you couldn't do 10 years ago but is completely common now.
