OP here - that’s exactly what I gave my cat after the dose! The squeeze-up treat. She loves those things!! Hopefully not what gave her diarrhea in the first place!

I have tried giving her pill but I imagine it would be even harder, right? I think she would spit it out. As it is, I don’t think she’s getting her full liquid dose - half of it was drooled our.

Not necessarily harder, it depends on the cat. My cat is on a lot of pills right now and I dip each one in Churu before giving it to him. He thinks it's a treat. He comes running when he hears the pill containers open. There's also pill poppers, and pill pockets.

Hmm...my cat is finicky about treats, and has an uncanny knack for detecting a medicine hidden in a treat, but I will look into pill poppers.
