Oakton vs. Vienna

From the west side of Fairfax City you can take Jermantown Rd. to 123, cross 123 onto Blake Lane, and the turn off to the metro station is a short distance down Blake Lane on the left. It is not w/in walking distance but it is a short drive. If you live in the City of Fairfax or near GMU you can catch a Fairfax Connector or CUE bus to the metro station fairly easily.

PP is right. The homes with Fairfax address that feed to Oakton are VERY close to the metro. I'd say they're walking distance.

Fairfax as in the West Ox Road area. Not w/in walking distance, not even close, but certainly does feed into Oakton.
