| since this is about LMVSC, within close proximity, you have Alexandria, Annandale, BRYC, SYC, Gunston, South County. That's plenty of choice for club style and league |
Didn’t see anywhere stating this is about LMVSC. If my memory serves me correctly. All those clubs have NCSL teams. |
Why should I limit how far upstream I go to collect my funds? My club tells me that part of the reason I could not get more than a $400 credit is that the league did not refund to them - I am fine with not getting the portion that the club paid my child's coach. So, based on the information I got from my club, I want the league to refund to the club so that I can get a greater refund. What is it about this concept that you find so troubling? |
Just another old boys network Ponzi scheme |
Good luck with that. The amount of concern and energy you put into this pursuit could be put to better effort finding a club that is more in line with your perspective. Face it you are not getting any league fee because you are not contracted or under an agreement with NCSL. so get over it already. Move on. If you feel otherwise stop complaining on DCUM and go sue them for the money. You surely have that option, make it happen |
LOL. or just charge back your credit card which worked for me. Pp have you ever heard the phrase "you can't squeeze blood from a turnip."? |
Nothing is limiting you but nobody here cares about your futile fight. The league owes you nothing. |

OP, it's more than just the league that didn't issue refunds to teams. The field fees, county fees, and, in some cases, club fees were not refunded. Many tournament fees were applied to a fall tournament, which -- as someone else pointed out -- means a discount to returning players but no money back. But teams that continued to pay coaches throughout the spring simply couldn't have much money to return to parents because that is the largest item in everyone's budget by far.
FWIW, I think all of that money should have been returned to the clubs so that teams could return a little money to families. But even if NCSL had refunded the entire spring fee it would mean probably less than $50 per family. |
| Fairfax county refunded all the field fees for spring. I don’t know about other places. |
So the league keeps its fees and hires more employees. The clubs get refunds, forgivable ppp loans and keep their fees. I guess only the parents get nothing and keep paying and paying. The whole system just takes and takes from suckers. Probably about time the system gets focused on the kids in the process instead of the adults. |
