Last time I checked, Aluminum doesn't rust. Materials science!

OK nerd, it oxidizes/corrodes. You will know it when you see it!

We ended up with Schluter in our Master Bath remodel, which I would say in on the contemporary side of things. Moreso out of availability, as the bullnose we selected was (all of a sudden) not available for 4+ weeks and we were forced to go with the Schluter.

As someone who has both in their home, I like the Schluter. I find that the bullnose grout cracks annoy me over time, especially where the tile/grout meets the drywall, where you will never see that with Schluter (I say this after being in our remodel 4 years now).

We just did a remodel and did schluter in both bathrooms. I like how it turned out.

Schluter looks great in our high end, all white marble and penny tile bathroom. Make sure you test the Schluter against your tile so the color matches - there are several shades and finishes of silver for example, and getting a perfect combo is v important so you don’t end up with that cheap look.
