For older kids, absolutely. But it’s going to be on parents to teach their kindergarteners and first graders to read and writes, not teachers through dl, because the kids won’t focus. Their attention span is worse with zoom, because the teacher can’t see the whole class and casually redirection back to the activity. |
FYI, this is why most virtual schools don’t admit below second or third grade. |
You can find a college aged sitter to do this for about $20/hour. People on this board will call you cheap and tell you you will never find anyone, but you will, and they will be able to mute/unmute your kids' computer just fine.
The social distancing thing, you have to figure out on your own though. |
