How much socializing have your kids been doing?

A fair amount til DS got Covid from friends and brought it home. Now, none.

Zero. They haven't seen any of their friends since closure. However, sports just opened, so they'll be around their teammates soon.

Same. Amazed at the games and imagination of my two.

Lots. Sports are in full swing. We do play dates in backyards. Outdoor movie nights. We don’t do anything inside and we don’t do big groups.

My kids have been playing at the park this whole time. Usually the same group of friends, as usual. They have attended a couple of birthdays, we've had a few playdates at the house, sports camps etc. So, not quite as much as before the shutdown, but a good amount. We are open, it only depends if others are willing.

Yes, this is my whole neighborhood. It is so nice to see.

My DS has some disabilities so has few friends. But he is working and socializing there.

In person, she's gotten together with one friend, but masked AND distanced AND outdoors AND supervised (minimally)... and the friend's family is distancing about as much as we are, which is to say, keeping mostly to themselves. Has happened 3x. I am okay with this for now, seems a very low risk to her or our friends. I wouldn't allow more than this, but would extend it to other friends (one at a time).

We have a couple of friends who are in our bubble and doing the same things we are safety wise. It has been one on one, outside only, with masks and distanced.

We aren't at the point of group anything, sleepover anything, playing at the park, playing with random kids, sports etc.

We are doing play dates one on one and recently kids started playing with one neighbor's kids. We haven't taken them anywhere else, so it is good for them emotionally.

Group playdates? Really?

I don’t agree with them but have you been living under a rock? People are having huge parties, let alone group play dates.

Hanging out outside, and outdoor sports.
