Looking for reliable fit for maternity/nursing bra, disappointed with breastfeeding center!

Prior to giving birth I was measured at trouseau as a 38F and bought an underwire. I also bought several cheapo sleeping bras from target and a cheap nursing bra from motherhood. The target and motherhood bras caused severe pain in my right breast and blocked ducts in both. The underwire also caused a blocked duct. I was only able to start wearing underwire at 6 months.

about 2-3 weeks after my DD was born I went to the fairfax lactation center and was measured as a 38FF and tried on a million bras. I ended up with a bravado tank as well as a non underwire bra. I know that Inova Alexandria as has some bras and does fittings (by apt).

Good luck

I'm big and also had a really bad time getting a bra at the BF Center. Turns out their measurements were way off. I got a good one from the lactation consultant at Sibley after giving birth.

Does Trousseau stock nursing bras? I usually buy from them, so I'll hike out there after the baby to get a bra. I've already gone up band and cup sizes so many times my head is spinning. I started this pregnancy as a 38F and now I want to cry when I look at my ill-fitting bra.

If Trousseau doesn't stock nursing bras, will they fit me at GWU Hospital? I'm supposed to deliver there, and I guess taking care of that while I'm at the hospital would be easy.
