I am so stupid - Monistat fell in toilet....

OP, I think you're supposed to use it at bedtime because gravity is going to cause the cream to drain out of you before it has a chance to work.

Ok but HE could also have an infection. It is not enough to just treat yourself.

You rinsed it off and most likely your toilet water was very clean; don't they say the average toilet is cleaner than the average keyboard, since people actually clean their toilets regularly? (Which I am assuming you do. ) You're probably not feeling great since you have the infection and that combined with everything else going on in the world, it's natural to feel a little off-balance. I've used the Monistat 1-day before with success so I hope it knocks it out for you.

And I also hear you on the privacy. I am not embarrassed to tell DH when I have an infection or anything, but unless there's a reason (like wanting to have sex at that exact time) I don't really feel the urge to tell him. First, does he really want to know, and second, I do feel like it's my right to keep my body private. Some people like to share everything, fart all over their spouses, etc. and that's great. For THEM. Not everyone feels that way and that's ok!

Her husband might have given her the yeast infection. Or she might have given him one. So if she self treats and he doesn’t know to check himself out, then they could just keep passing it back and forth.

+1 There is nothing to be embarrassed about. I can’t imagine hiding this from my DH. That’s no way to live. This sounds anxiety related.

if you don't have an ob yet, you could go to urgent care for an antifungal prescription.

Please don't be embarassed to talk to a dr. they see this stuff ALL THE TIME.

I'm thinking maybe you don't have kids (yet)? All this goes out the window trust me!

That’s fine, but your level of anxiety over him finding out is unhealthy. That’s a different ballgame than not farting in front of your DH.

Why would you hide the fact that you have an infection from your HUSBAND? I don't get it.

Also, a vaginal infection is nothing even remotely like pooping. However, he knows you poop, too. And he does too! Really.
