Are you touching your face? Like resting your jaw on your fist? When I do that I get zits.
ProActiv
Accutane. I took it at 34 and it changed my life.

This is contrary to most advice but I now only wash my face once a day and my acne is so much better. Started out of pure laziness but then my skin improved. Then I changed my moisturizer to one without alcohol which helped even more. I think the old moisturizer plus washing my face twice a day was too drying and caused breakouts.
Also wearing a mask probably does not help chin and jawline acne, but at least it cannot be seen! |
Accutane
Dairy. You’re welcome.
Same, OP. The only thing that worked for me was spironolactone. It was a magical pill. I would have stayed on it forever but had to stop because it interferes with pregnancy. I thought about going on it again after I finished breastfeeding but then I was diagnosed with breast cancer and decided not to use any hormone-altering drugs.

I highly recommend the subreddits on skin care

Curology. Seriously made my persistent 40 year old acne disappear in 8 weeks. I was so frustrated one day on vacation, saw the ad on my social media and literally signed up without another thought. Not one zit in almost a year.
Accutane. Did it at 30 and my only regret is that I didn't do it at 14.
Go on the pill
And another. It is miraculous, you just have to be patient as it takes some time. |
Accurate. Life changing. You need a new derm.
