Wow, OP here- I had no idea water was so effective. I am going to try to limit the soap for every other day. Thanks!

I've tried lots of stuff

Aveeno is my favorite
Burt's Bees - too perfumy and too foamy
California Baby - fine, but smells like window cleaner
Dove Unscented Soap - worked great but DC tried to grab and eat the bar

We do a bath almost every night, but only use cleanser every other night. I wash her hair every night because she rubs her messy hands in her hair at dinner. We also put Aveeno lotion on her all over her body each night and each morning, and this has helped a lot with dry skin. Using California Baby unscented for her face, twice a day. During winter she gets very bad dry skin, so we also put Aquafor on the worst spots, but I'm looking for a non-petroleum based alternative. Am going to check out Alba Organics "unpetroleum" brand.

mustela is my fave, DC has super sensitive skin, use the entire line, expensive but lasts a long time.

22:11 here. Yeah, Mustela is great. We used it and it was actually my favorite but I forgot about it since it's so expensive. We stopped using it after we realized we like Aveeno just as much and Aveeno was 1/2 the price. But Mustela smells so nice.

Eucerine makes a new Aquaphor Gentle Baby Wash that I love! It's unscented. I got lots of Mustela before my DC was born but then felt uneasy putting using anything with such a strong scent. I've also used the Aveeno, but am the most happy with the Aquaphor.
