Yes, I think they are just helping coaches to earn some extra money, while the team practices are in limbo.

I didn't expect the clubs would have much desire to restart practices now. In a normal Spring season, practices would be ending in the next two weeks. Realistically there is not going to be much motivation to go through all the protocols to immediately restart training sessions. From a cynical perspective, you could say they already have all our payments from the Spring, but honestly I get it. I expect practices (either modified or full) will start based on the usual Fall calendar (i.e. - mid to late July or early August).

So many kids have been itching to get back to practicing. These fields are open right now for unpermitted use. I am going to be really annoyed if they fill up with coaches giving small group training sessions. Professional, trained sessions should require permits, so I really hope they don't take all the field space.

Coaches will just have to use a small footprint on the fields to make room for everyone not paying for private training. Sorry coaches!

For elite teams, there are still potential tournaments, i.e. JefCup and EDP. Also, I imagine three or more scrimmages. Teams will practice as soon as possible.

You folks should move to the Mclean area. Both Langley and Mclean HS athletic turf field are pretty much empty.

Not to change the topic but do you realize what is going on in the USA right now? Clearing peaceful people off of athletic fields is not and should not be a priority right now. Everyone is venturing out right now. Just do you and stay in your comfort zone. Before you point the finger at these people on the fields think of all the minor law infractions you violate everyday in your life.
