Can your 2nd grader manage distance learning on their own?

My 1st grader does. He just needs me to log into my laptop. We've got everything bookmarked (his idea, why didn't I think of it?) And likes to do the sign in himself. He's been keeping up with the work too, though occasionally I need to point out the teacher asked him to redo some.thing.

I have a second grader with ADHD. I print out all math work and any reading materials that can be printed on Sunday nights and put them in sequential order in a folder. DS does all the math independently and takes a picture with the Chromebook and uploads it to turn it in. He does that right after math class ends. He needs more support with the reading because he struggles with explaining his thinking, so I help with those assignments. We usually do those in the later afternoon when I can take a break. He does art, music & PE on his own. I check his myMCPS classroom a few times per week to make sure everything has been done that needs to be done.
