Speculate on PK3... emotional component of starting a new school with an inconsistent schedule

They are not going to boot your kid from PK3 if he doesn’t show for the once a week Zoom call (once a week is what my PK3er is doing). Some kids just don’t cooperate and many more kids have working parents that can’t help them join a 10am zoom call every Tuesday. The PP advice is the best advice!

OP here, thanks everyone! He is at our in-bounds school, which I don't believe is particularly in demand. I will keep moving forward with both tracks at this point to keep our options open (staying enrolled in our current daycare and DCPS PK for fall) and see how things look in a few months. Thanks for the thoughts!
