I hope you’re right. It’s getting delivered for my Honda CR-V this week and now this thread has me worried!

I also have a grand cherokee with leather seats. I just had to reinstall the rava and it was a bit too loose. I went to reopen the blue door and it wont open. I am trying not to pull too hard because I dont want to damage it. Does anybody have any tricks for a difficult to open door?

There’s a button you push and it pops open. You might have to push the button pretty hard but it’s a push, not a pull.

I do not have this problem with a Chevy equinox or Honda Civic. I make the belt as tight as possible, push the seat downward as much as I can and pull the belt again as much as I can before closing the hatch. I find it pretty easy so this might be a car model thing. Call Nuna for advice.

Find a local CPST to help you - https://portalskcms.cyzap.net/dzapps/dbzap.bin/apps/assess/webmembers/secure/manage?webid=SKCMS&pToolCode=CERT-SEARCH&pAdd=Yes

Schedule a virtual consult with Safe in the Seat - https://safeintheseat.com/consults/

I know University of Maryland campus police had someone certified who was easy to get an appointment with when we needed it 2 years ago.

I have to put ALL my weight in the seat (kneeling) in order to get enough slack out to make the seat tight. Almost takes two people. Try to never reinstall because it's such a pain
