While I think that museums may not open for a while, I do think that even free museums bring a huge economic benefit to DC. There are food trucks, carts, vendors, etc. who all depend on the visitors to the museums to make a living. They don't make much money in the first place and the museums being closed is killing their businesses obviously. |
Both could be right if second pp referring to the Smithsonian Museums - the National Art Gallery is a separate entity. |
