Sibling 7 years apart?

I have another sib, same gender as the first, two years younger than me. They had a difficult personality, with likely mental health concerns. The younger sib is currently not on speaking terms with either older sib or me.

I think it has less to do with age and more to do with personalities.

Brother 3 years, then sister 10 years younger then another sister 13 years younger.

Three sisters do not speak to brother. He's a horrible human.

At times it is hard to be close with sisters so far apart in age. We have lived completely different lives. Same parents but grew up in two different states and I moved away in my 20's.

My husband and his brother are 13 months apart. While they've never had a falling out, per se, they never speak. I don't even think my husband has my BIL's phone number.

This thread is interesting. My sisters and I are close in age (2.5 years apart each) and always fought. I always envied my friends with siblings 5+ years apart because they seemed to get along well. Strange that my anecdotal experience is so different from others in the thread.

My brother is 9 years younger than me. He’s awesome and I love his wife. It’s also fun having a millennial sibling - he explains a lot to me about the millennials I work with!

This is exactly my little brother and me. We still talk every day (we live 16 hours apart). Now, my older brother and I (age difference of 20 months) have never been close.
