I’m a prosecutor. Almost as good as a cop finding drugs in someone’s pants. “These aren’t my pants.”

We still joke about my mom’s friend’s son who was holding a cigarette for someone else.

Was t this a Brady Bunch episode?

OP here.

I’m parent who was told from another parent that she found my son’s weed. When I told her she was mistaken, she implied my son was the one lying. I’m not saying he’s an innocent angel, but the weed in question is not his. The friend gave my son a heads up via text.

LOL how did she react when you showed her the text?

Lol. Yes and cops don't care if it's someone else's. You're holding it, your problem.

It's as illegal as alcohol for minors. Parents can proceed accordingly

You still get a fine, and depending how much you have or if it's a 2nd offense, it's a possible misdemeanor.

Maryland: https://norml.org/laws/item/maryland-penalties-2

Virginia: https://norml.org/laws/item/virginia-penalties-2

Even in DC, minors will be ticketed.
