what is the average 3rd grader doing in math class by now?

| DC is in a FCPS GT Center and is currently doing multiplication of two and three-digit numbers and long division. |

| Just curious -- are all of these schools/posters using the "Everyday Math" curriculum? My child's private uses EM, but they seem to supplement with drill work as with times tables, for example. The third grade has just started decimals/fractions in the EM curriculum book, but they still need to write out one of the times tables up thru 12x12 each night for homework. |
