So angry. Your poor daughter.

My daughters are just fine. But I don't coddle them to that point. If they can't figure out what to talk about with their friends, then they shouldn't talk to their friends. I want my daughters to be able to count on themselves by the age of 11 or 12. I think a lot of problems come from the parents micro-managing.

You sound like a total bitch that would not know what is going on with your kids because they won't tell you.

You are not a good parent, stop giving advice.

Pick a series to watch with a friend and Facetime and watch the show together.

google how to karaoke on zoom. There are instructions on how to add music with the words.

If they like books try to do a bookclub. Read a chapter, have a book club meeting.

Have a set day and time to do somethings so they have something to look forward to.

There are some bakeries where you can pick up a cake with all the decorations and take a decorating class online... she can do it with friends. (this is a bit expensive)

Also, face paint so they could get more extravagant would be fun!

My 11 yr old is writing a play with his friends using google docs and google hangouts. It is based on their favorite book series.

Do a google image search for bingo. I found a cute "social distance bingo" JPG and shared the screen. We each took a turn basically reading the slots so we didn't play real bingo but there were 25 questions to work through. Raise your hand if you wrote in your journal / played with a pet / baked something new / practiced your instrument blah blah blah.
