Are virtual tours & info sessions worth it?

No truthfully, I know it has a great reputation but both my DD and I were very disappointed with all the communications with Pitt. I'm not sure she'll even apply. I figure if they treat prospective students so poorly, I can't imagine how things could be better for enrolled students.

^^PP glad others had better experiences. We've had three poor experiences with communication and staff which is enough for us.

Watched Pitt's general info session. It was live, but it seemed to be a traditional info session, thrown on Zoom. They switched back and forth between short videos and longer power points with a speaker talking over them. If you didn't log in at 11 AM exactly, you would miss some of it. 20 minutes in, I was kind of hoping it would end soon.

I think I'd rather we be given the option of watching a few videos on our own time and then log in for a live question and answer session.

This is obviously a new format and I'm sure colleges will figure out how to adjust the style/content based on feedback.
