Absolutely |
I have a 7 and 9 year old in my bed almost every night. |
Mine did this morning when my husband left for work. I wish he would more often. |
Yes my 4 yr old has been most nights/mornings. Usually it’s that she wakes up really early and comes in but sometimes it’s in the middle of the night. I don’t mind too much. She needs the snuggles. |
Yep. Our 9-year-old, an only child, has been crawling into our bed. He's scared and lonely, so craving some coziness late at night. |
We have three six and under and there definitely has been an increase since we started shelter at home over two weeks ago. They don’t understand it but there is certainly more stress in our home and they pick up on it. We usually bring them back to their beds and cuddle until they fall asleep otherwise there could be five of us in the bed. I haven’t had a full nights sleep in weeks. |
No. My 4 yo is sleeping the best he's ever done. |
Woke up with a 10yo who had crawled in beside us in the night. 100% fine with this, it's tough on everybody.
PPs with the stories of the teens doing this, that is so sweet. |
My 10 yo DD is sleeping with us most nights. Honestly, I find it comforting too! |
14 year old is now in my bed every night. DH is sleeping on the sofa. It’s temporary. My family was evicted shortly before I turned 14. We landed in a ramshackle house in a violent neighborhood. I recall how afraid I was at night and how alone because my mother would not let me sleep with her. |
Same with my 11 year old |
Yes. My kids are 10 and 6 and both have always loved being in their own rooms. Never have asked to sleep with us. But my 6 yo has taken to sleeping on a pallet in our room. It’s her way of processing all the changes so I get it. But it’s definitely a thing. |
My 10 year old has been sleeping on a bean bag in our room. We’re moving his mattress in our room tonight until this is over. |
Yes. 4 year old has been in our bed almost every night. |
