Any update op? |
If you don’t pay the price now, you will certainly pay later. It is likely you will not have a spot. |
Don’t pay OP and lawyer up |
This is an extenuating circumstance and they should give you a refund. I’m on the board of a non-profit with a preschool and we’re giving refunds to everyone who prepaid and requests one (emails were sent so everyone knows). So sorry you’re in this situation but keep trying. |
Well it’s better than our preschool, which just keeps pulling money from our account without any possible forthcoming date of reopening... |
That’s what stop payment is used for |
I wish my center would close. I’m so afraid I’m going to get sick. I don’t know who’s parents have been exposed to what and I know kids don’t usually get very sick from this so I won’t know when they have the Coronavirus. I would much rather be at home and broke than come in and get sick and make my own family sick. |
This. The minute the center closed, I called the service provider who handled automatic payments for the school and asked them to remove my automatic billing details because I no longer authorize them. (The option wasn’t available for me to do on my own through their website.) They were obliged to comply with my request. I am still figuring out what I am going to pay and don’t anticipate stopping full stop (the center offered 30% off), but I’m the meantime, I wanted to make sure my auto payments weren’t continuing at the prevailing rate without my confirmation. |
