Local Kids Offering Free Tutoring: We Want to Do Our Part!

Hi, we are the original posters. THANK YOU to everyone for the nice comments and also passing our information on to others! We have received some repeat questions via email that we thought we would address here:
1. We do have tutoring experience. We have been part of a tutoring group at our school, but obviously we can't do that now. So we figured we could do it remotely for the community. We know it can be hard with everyone at home and parents trying to do their own work. We are happy to give parents a break while tutoring, practicing things, or even reading with their child. 2. Yes, in addition to older kids, we are able to work with little ones! We have experience with very young children--we are teaching assistants in our Sunday school. 3. Yes, it is 100% free! We don't want payments of any kind. We did it as volunteers at our school, and we are doing it as volunteers now. We're stuck at home like everyone else, and we are looking for something good to do with our time. 4. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at: IHSHtutoring@gmail.com No, we don't have a website or anything like that because this isn't anything formal. We just created that email address so that your emails don't get lost in our regular email accounts. We hope everyone is well. And keep us in mind! We will try to help as many kids as we can. |
