That would be a reason to keep it open if it were being converted into a daycare to serve people in essential services. But that's not what's happening. It is still serving the same parents as always, very few of them who can't work from home and have jobs that would be considered essential.

There were relatively few people there last week and I am sure this, coupled with the general worsening of the situation, there will be fewer there tomorrow.

I’m a center director and we are closed vOluntarily BUT my understanding from the recs is that the center would close if a child was positive but if a parent is positive they would not have to close. The child should be removed for 14 day’s though from
Last co tact with infected parent before returning.
