Yes!!! I was freaking out for weeks prior and DH is like “Stop buying canned goods”. Now he is like “Don’t leave the house to go to your mailbox. Wear your hazmat suit” and I’m like “Going to the grocery store for the 900th time” |

First PP here. Correct, we have occasional disagreements on politics, parenting, finances, like other couples. But for this pandemic, we are 100% on the same page. It's one stress we don't have. The stress we had was trying to persuading others since January that this was going to be global pandemic much more serious than the recent SARS or avian flu outbreaks. |
Yes. I have an immuno-compromised stepdaughter (college-aged). Her mom and dad are stressed about it, but have no understanding of how little we know about transmission and what social distancing and quarantine really mean. Her stepdad thinks it’s all a lame stream media hoax. I have a science background and have been taking to people who know a lot about viral pandemics.
I have done all I can, talking to my stepdaughter (who is worried) and my husband, but he keeps assuming I have the worst intentions - specifically that I’m worried she will infect us and I’m trying to keep her little sister (my daughter) away from her. I have given up. |
Yes. Husband is heading out today for a regular dental checkup/cleaning. There's no reason it cant be put off for a month (or more). And he plans to stop in to visit his 80+ year old parents on his way home from the dentist. I'm so angry that he wont just park himself at home. |
Ex and I have 2 kids and we share joint physical custody. I am remarried with a young child. Ex is not taking this seriously and is business as usual even running errands with the kids while i am taking this seriously. Beyond frustrating. |
Sorry, but your H is an idiot. |
I have no idea how you'd expect I could "get" DH to see this my way. |
DH and I were on the same page until today, when he decided we shouldn't go outside at all. |
Mine wanted to go with our kids to see MIL, MILs bf and aunt this weekend for Sunday dinner . All those ppl are over 60 and aunt is a cancer survivor. |
