I hate the press sometimes. And I am a die hard D

You're a troll, OP. And a really bad person who has no regard for the welfare of the entire country that Trump is harming with his flippant attitude toward a pandemic.

I think this pandemic will reveal many of these "journalists" for the true hacks they are.

I agree with you, OP. They play a game of "gotcha" instead of simply reporting news. Far too much editorializing.... in the language they use and the commentary in their pieces.
And, the decisions as to what NOT to report.

Here is the latest that drives me crazy.

Why does this drive you crazy? Do you think it is not true -- and WaPo just made up all the quotes?

This. He’s incapable of self reflection. He’s done a tremendous job and not at fault for anything.

Nice attempt at trolling though, op. A+

Good call on the troll. Exactly what this post is

yes, stories like these are very petty. truly nothing trumps trump obsession for some in the mainstream media. has he sucked about this? absolutely. but the partisanship is tiresome.

Pandemic policy must be driven by experts, not bright people with no experience. When it comes to building drive-through clinics or makeshift hospitals then bring in outsiders with experience in those areas.

There are countless MPHs in the DMV. Solutions? Or was it just a status degree?

This is a totally legitimate article. A WH task force member reached out to his Stanford business school group and some of them pushed back that he should be consulting with public health experts. The push-backers were right. This is not how public policy should be made. We have public health experts in the government. Trump fired the task force of experts. It shouldn't be replaced with a cronyism network. Are some of his business school bros going to end up with government contracts or insider information out of this overture?

If you have agita about one instance of the press at this moment in history, you have such an easy and privileged life.

Op here. Is yet another. CNN reports that asking if there are ventilators for anyone who needs
It. Of course, trump can’t say yes. And he says cutie
Pie bit later says wiseguy.

Press fail.
Focus people. Please please focus.

WHY IS IT A “PRESS FAIL” THAT THE PRESIDENT CALLED A MEMBER OF THE WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORPS A “CUTIE PIE.”

You’re calling WaPO the press? It’s a bunch of junior bloggers and is 75% OpEds nowadays.
Please, read it and compare any day to a real newspaper non opinion stuff.

Agree. There is no comparison between the WaPo and the WSJ. One is a huge juvenile opinion piece and the other is actual news without the idiotic bias.

I agree, although to be fair, I am an independent and not a diehard Democrat.

Under the lense of social media, Obama would have failed with the SARS epidemic.

Gee, within one week of our first H1N1 case, Obama had:

1. An approved test, which shipped 2 days later.
2. Guidance on school closures
3. A declaration of emergency

Within six months, we had a vaccine. And this illness only had a case fatality rate of 0.02% so he moved very fast and jumped pretty high, for a disease that was less lethal than the average flu.

I don't think "the lense of social media" would make Obama look like Trump in any way. If think the current "lens of social media" would like to rewrite history though. Don't fall for it though.

OBAMA H1N1:
4/25- WHO announces public health emergency
4/26- Obama announces public health emergency
6/11- WHO declares pandemic
10/24- Obama declares national emergency

Trump declared national emergency the day after WHO declared pandemic.. he also declared a public health emergency the day after WHO declared a public health emergency
